ASSISTED with development of interim healthcare system for Louisiana State University in New Orleans City following the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Surveyed possible re-construction sites, and developed plans for replacement medical facilities, housing of personnel, and replenishment of equipment and supplies.
MANAGED medical actions and exercises of emergency responses for a 5,000 person medical center. Orchestrated and exercised response to national emergency scenario involving 14 agencies within San Antonio; directed first-ever exercise of medical center alternate facilities; deployed five specialty teams in support of Oklahoma City bombing within hours of notification; and managed tabletop exercise of 1,000 bed expansion and patient dispersion system.
