There are two quick and easy ways for our employees to access the client' s data. Doctor's notes/reports/information/patient charts can be stored on the client's server which we can then access and view through a secure Virtual Private Network. Alternatively, they can be transferred to us through secure File Transfer Protocol or through uploaded through our secure website. We then encode based on the following sources:
- CD-9-CM Coding (International Classification of Diseases 9th Revision Clinical Modification)
- CPT-4 Coding (Current Procedural Terminology)
- HCPCS Level II Coding (Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System)
- Health Insurance Prospective Payment System Coding (HIPPS)
